Ken Yeatman
RESIDENT BALLET TEACHER
Ken Yeatman started training in Zimbabwe and continued training in London. As a dancer Ken worked all over the world performing with, among others, Ballet Rambert, London Festival Ballet, Irish National Ballet and Dutch National Ballet.

In South Africa he performed as principal dancer with the CAPAB, NAPAC and PACT Ballet Companies. He was appointed Artistic Director of the Zimbabwe Ballet before returning to South Africa as a teacher for the Transvaal Education Department in 1979.

Ken has since taught at the Pro Arte School in Pretoria, the Johannesburg Art, Ballet, Music and Drama School as well as teaching and choreographing for the Dance Department of the Technikon Pretoria.

Over the years, Ken Yeatman has emerged as one of the finest teachers in South Africa, free-lancing with the professional dance companies in this country as well as teaching abroad. In 1992 Ken was appointed Dance Master of the Pact Dance Company.
